Allana Ferguson bio

Allana played for Australia in Rugby Sevens, but then knee injuries forced her to miss several seasons before switching back to Rugby League. Allana was the first woman to play in a soccer match in 2015 and starred in the game for New South Wales when they played Queensland. Allana has also added radio into her arsenal, performing regularly with the top-rating Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Allana Ferguson is an experienced teacher outside of the sport world. Allana Ferguson holds the rare honor of representing Australia in three sports - rugby sevens as well as touch, and rugby league. Allana Ferguson, the Jillaroos' star rugby player is forced to end her career in the league due to tearing her ACL four times. Ferguson, 25, was able to tear her ACL on the same spot between 15-17 and 20 years old. After the fourth tear she knew it was time for an end. Ferguson was the JILLAROOS team's playmaker. She had to resign in the wake of a fourth ACL left injury. After suffering the injury in the month of November while training Ferguson was one of the stars of the women's league over many seasons, confirmed the news this week in The Courier Mail.
